My Christian counseling is biblically-based counseling services provided by a pastor and church counselor, and is not medical or mental health advice from a licensed provider. This is a good option if you would like psychotherapy towards improve your life that also provides spiritual guidance from a Christian faith-based perspective. It’s mental health counseling along with in-depth understanding of a theological worldview. We also use spiritual resources such as prayer, faith, Bible study, spiritual exercises, and divine guidance and intervention by the Holy Spirit, for wholeness, healing, and growth.

I’ve been doing Christian counseling since 2016 and I’ve helped dozens if not hundreds of clients with a wide variety of life circumstances. I have experience with everything from general apathy to marriages on the brink of divorce and even complex cases involving severe childhood trauma, disassociation, depression, bipolar disorder, etc. I’m trained and skilled in many disciplines and able to help improve your life in a variety of ways. I’m here to meet you right wherever you are—from needing deliverance from demons to life improvement to discovering and fulfilling your calling! First Time New Client Onboarding Session
- 3 hour session (2 hours 50 minutes, 20-minute break in middle) — Why? (see “Important Information” below)

- You can book one-hour (50 minute) sessions any time

Important Information
READ!! Important info about Onboarding Session, Paperwork, Technical Issues with Zoom and Questions
Why such a long onboarding appointment? This is a 3-hour Zoom video session over a computer, tablet, or phone webcam, with a 20-minute break in the middle.
One of the reasons our onboarding session is longer is so that we can adequately understand your history and situation. This extended time allows us more time to carefully go through and discuss what you tell us in your new client profile in detail, answer all your questions, allow you to get to know your counselor and vice versa. It also provides us more time to not rush, to educate, to allow the Holy Spirit to guide our conversation, and to build a better foundation for a more beneficial counseling relationship.
This session is scheduled a minimum of 24 hours in advance to provide adequate time for scheduling the session and time to fill out the appropriate paperwork prior to the session. It also gives you time to deal with technical issues such as setting up Zoom, testing your internet connection, determining a private place to have your session, etc.
Paperwork – Once you book your appointment we will email you paperwork to complete online before your appointment. It is your responsibility to complete and submit your online paperwork before our session time. Contact our office by phone if you haven’t received your new client forms by email within 3 hours. You will know that they have successfully been submitted when you receive a confirmation email that includes a PDF copy for your own records. Please note that if you don’t fill it out completely, use your legal name, or don’t submit it at least two hours before your session then you will need to reschedule your appointment. The paperwork is filled out and signed online. This works best from a computer or tablet. If you’re not very technically savvy please keep all of this in mind and schedule your session several days from now to give yourself enough time to complete it.
Zoom Session Link – Your Zoom link is already embedded in the appointment and payment receipt email you will receive after schedule your appointment. Be sure not to delete this email. If you received your appointment time and payment confirmation email but don’t see the Zoom link button in it please contact us ASAP. Do not wait until your session time has already started to mention this to your counselor. Thank you.
Zoom Technical Issues – It is your responsibility to test your Zoom link prior to your session time and make sure that your device’s video, audio, and internet connection/speed is working well on your end. The link will work even before your session time. If your device or connection is not working contact us by phone at +1 727-537-6727 ASAP to reschedule your session for a later date. If you wait until your session time and your counselor has to sit around and wait for you, you will have to pay for that time, and it will come out of your session time. If you’re not very technically savvy please keep all of this in mind and schedule your session several days from now to give yourself enough time to make sure all of this is working prior to your appointment time.

Our Ministry’s Counseling Approach
Jesus said, “…you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” MPowered Christian believes that the Bible is truth and is sufficient for addressing all of life’s problems and that reliance on the Holy Spirit is essential. We believe that the Bible provides thorough guidance and instruction for faith and life and use the Bible as our primary tool in bringing a client’s concerns to resolution while relying on the Holy Spirit for the results.
Not Professional Medical Advice
We base our counseling and ministering on Scriptural principles and the Holy Spirit, rather than those of secular psychology and psychiatry. Our coaches are professionally trained and ordained Christian pastors and counselors, not licensed as psychotherapists or mental health professionals, nor should they be expected to follow the methods of such specialists. That said, we also have extensive knowledge and experience utilizing many of the same methodologies.
Our Philosophy of Care:
We are committed to providing a balanced and biblical approach to counseling and ministering. Our goal is to deal with issues within the scope of biblical parameters. We are confident that the Bible contains all necessary information for life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3). There are no problems between persons that the Bible fails to address either in general or specific principles. We believe that the Bible speaks to all of life and to all of its problems, but it takes careful thought and prayerful wisdom to know how to make those connections. We don’t believe that the Bible is simply a how-to book for happiness.
Most importantly, we believe that the Bible ultimately points us to a Person — the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe that real change comes when people learn to see themselves and their problems in the context of a loving, vital relationship with Christ. This does not mean that you must be a Christian to profit from our counseling, although we believe that deep and lasting change is brought about only by God himself. Because of this, we do not use the Bible in a superficial or heavy-handed way.
All counseling and ministering will be conducted in accordance with the counselor’s understanding of the Scriptures. Your counseling will be biblical counseling in which the Scriptures are, in all cases, the final authority. If you are unwilling to use the Bible as the final authority in counseling and ministering or are unwilling to apply the biblical principles assigned, sessions may be terminated.
Homework. Homework is sometimes given between sessions. This can range from reading information, joining our courses, watching videos, doing activities, or not-doing certain activities, or anything else related to taking a practical step in your counseling and ministering process. Our goal is to help improve your life. We expect you to demonstrate that you’re also committed to this same objective.
