OUR HISTORY

MPowered Christian Ministries began as a coaching and personal development vision, but over time the Lord redirected that work toward the gospel, biblical discipleship, spiritual formation, and ministry training. What started as one division of MPowered Living, Inc. has grown into a 501(c)(3) nonprofit ministry behind Empowered365 Network and Transformation Church International. Today, MPowered serves individuals, churches, ministries, and Christian organizations through biblical teaching, counseling, coaching, online education, discipleship resources, ministry training, and disciple-making community development.

MPowered Christian Ministries did not begin as a fully developed nonprofit ministry, online discipleship network, or house church movement. It began as a burden to help people grow, change, and live with greater purpose — and over time, the Lord redirected that burden toward the gospel, biblical discipleship, spiritual formation, and Kingdom mission.

What started as a coaching and personal development vision gradually became a Christ-centered ministry focused on helping people know God, follow Jesus, walk in freedom, grow in biblical truth, discover their calling, and become equipped to serve others.

Today, MPowered Christian Ministries is the foundational nonprofit ministry behind Empowered365 Network and Transformation Church International, serving individuals, churches, ministries, and Christian organizations through biblical teaching, discipleship resources, counseling, coaching, online education, ministry training, media outreach, and disciple-making community development.

MPowered Christian Ministries began as one division of MPowered Living, Inc., a for-profit empowerment coaching organization originally started by Brian Holmes in January 2014 and later formally incorporated in 2016.

At the time, Brian’s background included strategic intervention life coaching, health and wellness training, personal development, entrepreneurship, marketing, teaching, and coaching. The original goal was to help empower people, improve lives, and contribute to positive change in society.

Christian coaching was initially expected to be one part of a broader personal development and empowerment organization.

But the Lord had other plans.

Over time, Brian became increasingly convicted that if people did not know Jesus Christ, then even meaningful personal success, emotional growth, physical improvement, business development, or social change would still fall short of what matters most eternally.

The same “good” goals that once seemed central — self-improvement, achievement, influence, and success — had also been some of the very things that distracted him from fully surrendering his own life to the Lord until 2011.

By late 2015, Brian had begun to sense a clearer call from God to focus more intentionally on the ministry side of the organization and to give more attention to biblical teaching, discipleship, spiritual growth, and Christian transformation.

As MPowered developed, the emphasis slowly shifted from general empowerment for improvement in all areas of life to Christ-centered discipleship and eternally significant mission.

The ministry’s focus became less about helping people pursue personal success on their own terms and more about helping people understand God’s truth, surrender to Jesus, walk in spiritual freedom, grow in holiness, and live according to their calling.

This shift became foundational to MPowered’s identity.

The ministry began to emphasize that true transformation is not merely external behavior change, self-help, or motivation. True transformation begins with the gospel of Jesus Christ and continues through repentance, faith, renewal of the mind, spiritual formation, healing, sanctification, obedience, and empowerment by the Holy Spirit.

MPowered’s early language around being an “empowered Christian” reflected this conviction: an empowered Christian is not simply a confident or successful person, but a born-again follower of Jesus who is being renewed by God, shaped by Scripture, filled with the Holy Spirit, strengthened in identity, growing in character, and mobilized to serve others and make disciples.

As MPowered continued to grow, the ministry also began offering more direct one-on-one support through Christian coaching, biblical counseling, deliverance and inner healing, and spiritual guidance.

These services developed out of the same discipleship conviction that shaped the rest of the ministry: people often need more than information. They may also need prayer, pastoral care, spiritual discernment, healing, repentance, accountability, and practical next steps as they seek freedom and growth in Christ.

MPowered’s approach to deliverance and inner healing has intentionally been framed as part of broader pastoral care and discipleship, not as fear-based or sensational ministry. The goal is to help people pursue freedom, healing, restoration, and maturity through Jesus Christ.

As the ministry grew, Brian continued developing teaching resources, coaching tools, discipleship content, videos, articles, and ministry training materials designed to help believers grow spiritually and practically.

The ministry served people through:

• Speaking and teaching
• Online videos and articles
• Ministry and leadership development
• Practical tools for Christian living

This was also the season when MPowered’s online presence expanded through written resources, teaching videos, social media content, and long-form discipleship material.

The focus was not simply to create content, but to create resources that could help people build a stronger biblical foundation, grow in spiritual maturity, and take practical next steps in their walk with Christ.

A major milestone in MPowered’s development was the publishing of The Empowered Christian Road Map in 2020.

This resource became a major expression of the ministry’s discipleship philosophy: helping believers gain a clearer biblical foundation, stronger faith, greater purpose, renewed identity, spiritual maturity, and direction for fruitful Christian living.

The book and related course materials were designed around key principles for “unswerving faith, laser-focused direction, and a life driven by purpose and action.” The resource addresses theology, salvation, spiritual formation, apologetics, comparative religion, spiritual warfare, church fundamentals, spiritual gifts, calling, vision, mission, and preparation for ministry.

Over time, The Empowered Christian Road Map became more than a book. It became a foundation for deeper courses, coaching, small group resources, and Ministry Academy training pathways.

As MPowered’s teaching resources continued to develop, the ministry also began reaching beyond local and one-on-one settings through media-based discipleship.

One significant expression of this was Brian’s work with the Aramaic Broadcasting Network, developing discipleship lessons and teaching resources designed to serve pastors, evangelists, and believers connected to the 10/40 Window and other global ministry contexts.

This work included a 150-lesson discipleship program used by global evangelists and pastors, translated into 15+ languages, and distributed through 60-75 evangelists and pastors, 25 satellite radio stations, and various media channels serving unreached and under-reached regions.

This season helped broaden MPowered’s vision for accessible discipleship training. It reinforced the need for biblical resources that could be taught, translated, adapted, and shared across cultures, languages, and locations. Through this kind of media outreach, MPowered’s mission became increasingly focused not only on creating content, but on creating transferable discipleship resources that could help equip others to teach, lead, evangelize, and make disciples in their own communities.

From 2021 to 2024, Brian served in connection with Generation Church’s Belong pathway, a ministry focused on helping people move from attending church to building relationships, growing spiritually, serving faithfully, and becoming more connected to the life of the church.

This season gave practical expression to many of the discipleship and mobilization convictions MPowered had already been developing. It involved newcomer connection, group-based discipleship, leadership development, curriculum creation, volunteer training, pastoral care, and ministry systems designed to help people take clear next steps.

The Belong season helped further shape MPowered’s commitment to discipleship pathways that are not merely informational, but relational, practical, and mobilizing. It reinforced the need to help people move from spiritual interest to genuine belonging, growth, service, leadership, and disciple-making.

As MPowered’s teaching and discipleship content expanded, the need for a more structured online learning platform became clear.

That led to the development of what would become Empowered365 Network.

Empowered365 was created to provide online courses, memberships, certifications, and structured learning pathways for believers who wanted to grow in biblical truth, spiritual maturity, leadership, discipleship, and ministry preparation.

It gave MPowered a way to organize books, courses, training programs, discipleship resources, coaching, and ministry education into one more accessible ecosystem.

Through Empowered365, students can engage in personal growth, structured ministry training, course-based discipleship, all-access learning, and certification pathways. The Ministry Academy now includes stackable training options such as Foundations in Biblical Discipleship, Small Group Leadership, New Testament Biblical Studies, and House Church Pastorship pathways.

This development helped MPowered move from offering individual resources to building a more complete discipleship and ministry training system.

In 2023, MPowered Christian Ministries was reestablished as a nonprofit organization and received 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status.

This was an important organizational milestone.

What had started as a ministry division within a broader for-profit coaching organization became a dedicated nonprofit Christian ministry with a clearer structure, mission, and accountability.

A board was brought on to help provide oversight and support as MPowered continued developing its ministry, educational resources, discipleship systems, counseling and coaching services, media outreach, and training programs.

This transition helped clarify that MPowered was no longer simply a personal development project with Christian elements. It was now formally established as a gospel-centered Christian nonprofit focused on making disciples and advancing God’s Kingdom.

As MPowered continued to focus on discipleship, spiritual formation, leadership development, and ministry training, another need became clear: discipleship is not meant to remain only digital, individual, or content-based.

People need Christian community.

They need pastoral care, spiritual family, accountability, shared mission, and places where discipleship can be lived out relationally.

This helped lead to the development of Transformation Church International.

Transformation Church is a global family of transformational house churches. It is not built around one building, one stage, or one weekly event, but around house churches united by shared beliefs, values, governance, training, and oversight. Each house church is intended to be small enough for real community while connected to a wider spiritual family for accountability, support, and multiplication.

Through Transformation Church, MPowered’s broader discipleship mission began to take on a more church-based and community-based expression.

This also created a natural connection between Empowered365’s training pathways and house church ministry, especially in areas such as small group leadership, pastoral preparation, house church pastorship, discipleship systems, and practical ministry development.

Today, MPowered Christian Ministries serves as the foundational ministry behind several connected expressions of the same mission.

MPowered Christian Ministries

MPowered Christian Ministries provides the broader nonprofit foundation, theological direction, ministry services, counseling and coaching support, teaching resources, publishing, media outreach, and organizational oversight.

Through MPowered, individuals can receive Christian life coaching, biblical counseling, deliverance and inner healing support, biblical studies tutoring, speaking and teaching ministry, and church or ministry consulting.

Empowered365 Network

Empowered365 Network provides the online education and training platform for courses, memberships, certifications, Ministry Academy pathways, and partner programs.

It helps believers grow personally, prepare for ministry, develop leadership skills, and access biblical discipleship resources in a structured online environment.

Transformation Church International

Transformation Church International provides a church and house church expression of the mission, helping create disciple-making communities where believers can grow together, serve together, and be equipped for local ministry and multiplication.

Together, these expressions allow MPowered’s mission to be carried out through teaching, services, online training, ministry education, discipleship resources, pastoral preparation, and relational Christian community.

Although the structure of MPowered has developed significantly over time, the heart of the ministry has remained consistent.

MPowered exists to help people be transformed by Jesus Christ and equipped to help others follow Him.

The language, platforms, programs, and organizational structure have matured, but the central burden remains the same:

• Help people hear and respond to the gospel
• Help believers grow in biblical truth
• Help people walk in spiritual freedom and healing
• Help disciples discover their gifts and calling
• Help leaders and ministries become better equipped
• Help churches and communities become healthier
• Help raise up disciples who make disciples

MPowered’s mission is not simply to create content, offer services, or build platforms. The deeper goal is to see people saved, restored, equipped, empowered, and mobilized for faithful Kingdom impact.

MPowered Christian Ministries continues to develop resources, services, training pathways, partnerships, and ministry structures that support biblical discipleship and Kingdom mission.

The future vision includes continued growth in online discipleship, Ministry Academy training, counseling and coaching services, biblical education, church and ministry consulting, house church development, publishing, media outreach, and partnerships with churches, ministries, schools, authors, teachers, and Christian organizations.

The method may continue to develop, but the mission remains clear:

To equip and empower people to follow Jesus, grow spiritually, and multiply disciples everywhere.
