I’m a Certified Strategic Intervention Coach and graduate from Robbins-Madanes Training, Inc. Strategic Intervention is a specific methodology of highly-effective life coaching that utilizes the most practical and effective forms of strategic action and communication from a variety of disciplines: Ericksonian therapy, strategic family therapy, Human Needs Psychology, organizational psychology, neurolinguistics, psychology of influence, strategic studies, traditions of diplomacy and negotiation, and others.

In regards to counseling I utilize much of the latest research, theory, and practice in Christian counseling, psychotherapy, and the bio-psycho-social sciences developed by the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC). In marriage and relationship counseling or pre-marital counseling, Brian will utilize all of the above as well as several strategies from the Marriage Builders® method developed by Dr. Willard F. Harley, Jr.

In regards to life coaching such as creating work-life balance, personal health, coping with anxiety and stress, eating disorders, any other unhealthy addictions that prevent Christians from being able to honor their bodies’ as the temple of the Holy Spirit, and performance improvement, Brian incorporates and utilizes scientific training learned at the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and Mental Training Institute, where he possesses certifications in Personal Training, Fitness Nutrition, and Mental Training.

In regards to teaching, training and coaching I strive to be thoroughly-biblical in all things. I incorporate complementary—but never contradictory—principles and concepts from Christian tradition, philosophy, psychology, science, history, sociology, and other extra-biblical traditions. I humbly embrace and show appreciation for nondenominational dynamics, believing many traditions carry certain strengths that we can still learn from.

I’m a Qualified, Safe, and Reliable Coach! — The life coaching industry is full of new age practitioners utilizing spiritually dangerous beliefs and techniques. The secular counseling industry is full of atheistic, naturalistic worldview who deny an objective morality, sin, or spiritual reality. And even in the Christian counseling industry many are untrained and unequipped to deal with demonic oppression. Furthermore, because many of those who actually do deliverance ministry lack any of the previous training they incorporate false beliefs and spiritually dangerous techniques in their pursuit of freedom. When it comes to behavior modification, my training in alternative spiritualities, belief systems, and practices has enabled me to better sift through the psychology and experimental techniques and determine those safest and best available. I believe that my holistic and well-balanced education, as well as my analytical, reason-based, and methodological approach provide the best of all worlds. I believe this caries through to all of content whether sermons, workshops, courses, or personal coaching.
