ACTION WORKSHOPS

Local Missions. Our action workshops are designed to be local, personal interactive training experiences to get Christians together with other Christians in their community to learn about a specific topic in greater detail and prepare them to ACT UPON what they’ve learned and make a difference within their community.

How it works. Workshops typically combine some elements of an engaging sermon, accompanied by a visual powerpoint lecture, and possibly videos, custom-made graphics, or other teaching materials, followed by either small group interaction or Q&A sessions. Students are provided with study guides for note taking, additional resources, and tools for action planning. Additional interaction and discussion within the group is encouraged with the hope that students will work together to act on the things they learn. Our curriculums aim to provide high-quality, seminary-level education while being understandable, relatable, and inspire life change while developing the tools and habits to become interdependent disciples and mature leaders within their local churches and communities.

Our workshops typically average 1-1.5 hours long, once per week, lasting a set number of weeks. We designed it this way to increase participation. However, they could easily be combined into a multiple session 1-3 day conference, or 1-session per day, etc.

Lots of format options:

1. We offer these teaching/action workshops in local churches or schools as a paid speaker.
   • Participants can pay their own way, or churches may opt to pay a speaking fee and allow church members and participants to attend for free. Churches may also pay a partial fee to reduce the cost for members. We’re also fine with subtracting the difference that the church can raise from love offerings.
2. We offer them via online webinar so people can learn from anywhere.
   • Individuals can sign up directly. Additionally, if you would like to make this content available to your church members while keeping the costs down we could provide a live online webinar at a group discount specifically for your church members to be able to attend from home.
3. We also sell the materials to be used in traditional churches, home churches, Bible studies, or small groups.
   • In this extremely affordable and versatile format, we provide the videos online and a link to download all of the PowerPoints and PDFs (so pastors/teachers have the option to teach it their own way). Our Study Guides are also included, and are single-page in standard letter size so they’re easy to print out and extremely affordable.

While focusing on a specific topics, all workshops embody the DNA of our ministry: to become better disciples ourselves, make more disciples, and working through local churches create revival in the world.

Our goal is to use action workshops to help make disciples and create revival using three key tenets:

• Education (biblical knowledge)
• Renovation (repentance, healing, life transformation)
• Creation (discipleship and mission)

Worksheet study guides are provided during workshops that include an outline of the lecture’s key points and the Bible verses for future research. We also provide follow-up resources for participants to learn more about the topics discussed that week, encouraging additional self-study.

We encourage participant collaboration and the development of friendships partnering in mission work together. Participants are encouraged to become more self-motivated and disciplined, and practice their leadership, organization, and social skills by connecting with other participants for supplementary study in-between workshop sessions.

Our workshops are both educational and instrumental, not only learning but also applying what is being learned in mission. Workshops with a common theme include mission objectives so that participants are not only learning but also preparing for future mission projects.
